Worship Service

B.L.E.N.D.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. for our new blended worship service. The format is a bit less formal, the style more contemporary, the music a mix of traditional hymns and newer contemporary praise songs. Other art forms will be used to enhance the theme of the day.
Note that I’ve been moved by the Holy Spirit to make B.LE.N.D. an acronym that will help us all remember what we’re striving to accomplish for our own current congregation and for those who come to worship with us in the months ahead.
Blessed – You will be blessed and become a blessing as you bless the name of God and feel the presence and power of God’s mercy and grace.
Loved – You will feel the love of Christ and the love of the congregation, and you will become a conveyor of that love to others.
Empowered – You will be empowered to live out the gospel through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and you will become a person who empowers others to lead a Christ-centered life.
Nurtured – You will be nurtured in your faith and as a follower of Jesus you will be moved to nurture others in their faith journeys as well.
Discipled – You will be encouraged to grow in your own discipleship and you will be invited to disciple others.
I pray that our new service will be a source of vitality to all of us and I hope that we can keep the focus of B.L.E.N.D. on the principles outlined above. Most of all I pray that we may be known as a congregation that welcomes and makes new disciples of Jesus Christ.
Serving Christ together with you,
Pastor Patricia
